Arrival in Srinagar & Leisure Evening
Welcome to Srinagar! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your tour executive and transferred to your comfortable hotel. Spend the rest of the day acclimating to the pleasant mountain weather, taking a leisurely stroll along Boulevard Road, or relaxing at the property.
Full-Day Excursion to Sonmarg (The Meadow of Gold)
Embark on an 82 km scenic drive to Sonmarg, an alpine valley situated at 2,800 meters above sea level. Admire the crystal-clear waters of the Nallah Sindh River, famous for its trout and mahseer. Enjoy an optional pony ride toward the magnificent Thajiwas Glacier to play in the snow before returning to Srinagar for the evening.
Excursion to Gulmarg (The Meadow of Flowers)
Proceed on a 2-hour drive to Gulmarg, traversing past picturesque willow trees and fast-flowing streams. Known for its world-class skiing and towering snow-capped conifer forests, Gulmarg offers spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas. Ride the famous Gulmarg Gondola (optional) to Mount Apharwat before returning to your Srinagar hotel.
Srinagar to Pahalgam via Awantipura Ruins
Drive towards Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds,' situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and streams from Sheshnag Lake. En route, explore the 9th-century Awantipura Ruins, ancient Greek-style stone temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva built by King Awantiwarman.
